Secrets to Having Great Hair on Valentines

by admin on February 14, 2012

Today, in case you haven’t heard is Valentine’s Day. We hope you have a great date or an evening planned.

At this time of year you can begin to think “I can’t have great hair” and want to say inside. We say you can have great hair 24/7/365!

On this special day there are a few tips we want you to keep in mind. We want you to:

  • Give yourself time to get ready on Valentine’s Day. Nothing is worse than having to hurry to get ready. This means you may rush to dry your hair or add extra product. This can damage your hair tremendously.
  • Have  plan of what you want your hair to be. It might sound strange however having a plan makes things easier. Take a minute to think about how you would like your hair to look.
  • Relax and have fun. Your hair is connected to you. When you feel like you have great hair you do. Your special someone will be looking at you. Feel like you have great hair and you will.
Share a picture of your Valentine’s day hairdo on our fan page at https://www.facebook.com/autografhairsolutions.

Secrets To Damaging Your Hair (that you might not know)

by Dawn Mallory on October 10, 2011

In this how-to world, it is refreshing to hear the other side of the story … what not to do.

We at Autograf believe that you and your haircare situation are special and independent of the others in this world. That is why we have personalized, one-on-one consulting for you.

  • Chemicals that raise the cuticle or slam them closed:not pH balanced to hair and skin
  • Vent brushes on long hair: stretches & tears hair and creates static which can split ends
  • Henna-wanna-be products: dry and coat the hair
  • Combing out wet long hair with a comb: stretches it out
  • Washing and rinsing your hair with really hot water
  • NOT following manufacturer’s directions on products you use
  • Eating “too much” junk food
  • Perm, Color or Bleach your hair by yourself
  • Improperly using hot tools … curling irons, flat irons &
  • blow driers
  • Sun damage from over exposure
  • Swimming pool hair
  • Harsh styling tools: hair sprays, mouse, gel, etc.
  • Sleep with “ratting” in your hair
  • Wearing wigs and hats too frequently
If you want the solutions to these issues, go to my website and sign up for a private consultation with Your Personal Trainer for Hair…Dawn
In case you have forgotten or didn’t know, Autograf’s and Dawn’s participation in the beauty and hair health industries have been around since the mid 70′s.
Let’s take everything you know that turned out to be untrue and discuss alternatives. In this how-to world, it is refreshing to hear the other side of the story … what not to do.
They will eventually be linked up but for now, just click and go.

Speaking of going, I think I will. Thanx for sharing some time with me.

Happy Hair Days… Dawn
